Do not put makeup on when coming for the treatment. Have a light breakfast. Avoid Caffeine or Alcohol 24 hours prior to minimize bruising. Avoid NSAIDs (Ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, Naprosyn, BC powder, Etc) 7 days prior to minimize bruising. No dental work 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after thread placement. If you have an upper respiratory infection, sinus infection, acne break out, an infection of the skin or any other illness at the time of your appointment, your treatment will need to be rescheduled.
